A Luau Gala is set to raise funds to help more students and their families in the Upper Canada District School Board get a hand up.
The UCDSB Champions for Kids Foundation will hold the Hawaiian Luau Gala Beach Party dinner and dance on Saturday, June 10th. That will take place at Thousand Islands Secondary School in Brockville.
The foundation assists families financially to allow children to participate in sports, arts and other fun activities outside of school hours. It also helps cover minor medical expenses, provides gas cards to parents with a child in the hospital and purchases winter coats for children who need them.
