More than $82,000 was raised at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital Foundation’s Red & White Gala.
The event took place on June 3rd with funds being directed to the WDMH Foundation Family Care Fund. Managing Director Kristen Casselman says WDMH has been caring for families in their communities for decades and their new Family Care Fund recognizes that commitment.
Casselman says the fund is designed to simplify the giving process for donors, providing one main fund for donations. There are other funds as well, such as the General Equipment Fund or Cancer Care Fund.
Planning for next year’s gala will begin in October. The foundation is asking anyone with ideas to contact them.
