Time periods will collide this weekend when Prescott hosts the St. Lawrence Valley Car Club’s Annual Car Show.
On Sunday, July 2nd the 30th installment of the annual event takes place on the historic grounds of Fort Wellington. Registration will begin at 9:00am and costs ten dollars. Vehicle judging starts at noon and the final awards will be given out at 3:00pm. Car owners can choose between 19 different classes to enter their car cars in to, including Best of Show, Peoples Choice, Mayors Award and the 150th Canada Award. There is no entry fee for spectators.
The St. Lawrence Valley Car Club has been in existence for over 44 years and they are proud the car show has been running for 30 years. Representatives from the club say many of the club members have very rare vehicles that will be displayed at the show but will not be part of the competition.
